Description
Many of us are on the quest of soul searching, trying to find purpose in life, or a more soulful life. The soul is not something to be found; it is something to be allowed.
Our soul is who we are. The soul gives meaning to our life. Our soul speaks to us through our longings, dreams, and creative expression.
Our soul is having an experience of being human. Through our bodies, our soul experiences life. When we are connected to our soul, we feel like ourselves; we feel at home.
We often live from our egos and identify ourselves with what we have, who we are with, and how we look. Our soul doesn’t care about any of that.
Our soul cares about a gentle breeze on our face, birdsong in the sky, deep breaths, and a peaceful heartbeat in our chest. It cares about music, art, storytelling, beauty, and presence.
In this class, we will explore, through spontaneous movement, how our soul manifests in our bodies, and with that, in our lives.
