Description
Life is always moving and renewing. Every day, we have a chance to start over. As we observe the cycles of nature, there is always a promise for a new cycle, for renewal, and for spring.
The Cycle of Rebirth
Throughout our lives, we experience many deaths and rebirths. Death can come in the form of a cycle ending, a career change, breakups, or an inner death of a part of us that has had enough.
Whatever we have let go of, consciously or unconsciously, deliberately or indeliberately, there is potential for rebirth. We don’t go back to who we used to be; we become something completely new. Something that, in this moment, we can’t even imagine is possible. Life always finds a way.
Awakening to Your True Self
We often hear the term awakening. What is the time to awaken from? Awakening starts with the question, “Who am I?” Being awakened means embodying those potentials that are still dormant. It means moving past those parts of us that are holding onto what we are not.
In this class, we will explore deeper parts of us that are ready to awaken, parts of us that are resisting, and see what else is there inside of us that needs more of our acceptance. Wanting change without acceptance is resistance.
Imagine a Fresh Start
If we were given a fresh start, how would we move if we were given a body completely empty of our old stories and patterns? How would we move, crawl, walk, dance, and embody our essence?
What is a movement class?
Movement classes offer personal development through movement. Each session encourages a connection with your body, explores emotions, and accesses the wisdom of your soul.
By integrating mindful embodied practices and conscious dance, these classes promote holistic integration, emotional release, authenticity, and inner harmony.
Movement practices have their roots in body-centered psychotherapy and have evolved over the years to incorporate various techniques aimed at emotional regulation and expression.
These practices include:
•Structured Movement and Breathing Exercises
•Conscious Dance and Shamanic Dance
•Storytelling, Meditation, and Embodied Imagination
•Authentic Movement
