Gain the skills and knowledge of body therapy and implement it in your personal and professional practice.

The Circle is a 1-year program that teaches you the essentials of body psychotherapy. It is for people who want to understand the connection between early development and the body or practitioners who wish to use principles of embodiment in their practice.

The journey of personal development can be explained through Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. In myths and tales, the main character goes on an adventure where he encounters challenges and support and eventually goes through personal transformation. Through therapy, we endeavor to the inner landscape that guides us, as heroes, through transformation. The inner journey has the same elements as any hero’s journey from the myths.
I have worked for many years with people from different age groups and cultural backgrounds and the challenges they faced in their everyday lives. There was one thing that connected them all. It was the journey they were taking. They all wanted to know themselves. They were all on the inner journey of going on an adventure in the depths of their psyche, armed with resources and ready to face old, unpleasant emotions or inner demons lurking from the shadow. The courage and dedication ultimately led them through transformation to find the elixir, also known as their genuine, authentic self or the essence of their being. Their essence guided them on their journey; I was simply a compassionate human with the experience of my personal hero’s journey and education behind me.

What is the Circle?

The Circle is a 1-year-program where we explore our protection patterns and traumas through developmental phases. We learn why we behave the way we do, what influenced that, and who we indeed are underneath all these patterns and aspects.
The central premise is that we have undeniable contact with our essence because that is the part of us that guides us thru our journey. We learn how our body is structured and how it holds our patterns and belief systems. We explore deeper the roots of embodiment. When we consciously live in our body, as a home of our being, our energy flows. Because of emotional wounds and traumas, we adjust our flow. Based on the level of adjustment, our body is structured differently.
In this program, we will learn personality reaction patterns and how they are connected to our bodies. For example, a person who has a lean, long, and thin body often tries to leave their body. A person with an undeveloped muscular structure, or a body that doesn’t look mature for its age, often holds unfulfilled needs. With breathing and movement, we will learn how to make this body of ours the home it is and how to find flow, ease, fulfillment, and joy.
In the program, you will learn the foundation of body psychotherapy, what makes this approach unique, and how you can use it for your practice if you are a therapist or coach.
You will also receive loads of tools and techniques that can help you in your personal development or with your clients.

What are the elements of the Heros journey in this context?
1. The Call to Adventure
You feel like you are going through an awakening. You also feel moved and touched like you never felt before. It means that you are ready. You feel like there is something inside of you that is changing. It usually comes through dreams or synchronicities. You find the therapist or the program by “accident”. You feel engaged in topics of personal development.
2. Refusal of the Call
Even though you feel drawn to a program, you start rationalizing it. It’s too time-consuming and too expensive. You don’t need it.
3. Meeting the Mentor
You find the professional to who you feel instantly attracted. They are saying what you are feeling. You start consuming their content or even reaching out to them.
4. The Crossing of the First Threshold
You book a session. You enroll in the program
5. Tests, Allies, Enemies
You start focusing on your qualities and resources. You start feeling your essence. You meet other people who are on the same journey. You may even realize that your loved ones don’t understand you.
6. Approach to the Innermost Cave
You start learning about the principles and get a new perspective on yourself. You notice some old patterns and emotions that influence our behaviors.
7. The Ordeal
You can no longer hide from your aspects. You see your emotional wounds and find the courage to accept what has happened to you in a supportive environment. We allow ourselves to feel what has been neglected for years.
8. The Reward
After emotional turmoil, we finally find our essence. We embrace our authenticity and our qualities. We allow the rush of our essence to flow through our bodies.
9. The Road Back
We notice that our old life brings us challenges in the form of shadow aspects and imbalances.
10. Resurrection
We are ready to face and integrate our shadow. The part of us that was hidden for so long. Shadow integration brings profound transformation.
11. Return With the Elixir
We learn to embody our new qualities and bring them into everyday experiences. This is when our inner journey starts reflecting in our life.

Testimonials
Lana’s movement classes helped me dive deep into myself when I was feeling stuck. Her broad knowledge and guidance helped me realize and understand some of the emotions that were lingering, but I couldn’t quite pin point what was going on. Her classes showed me how to ground, to feel my body. Through movement all of those stuck emotions started to flow. I felt immediately lighter, and kind of had a “realization” of what was the issue, of the things that were bothering me that I wasn’t even aware of, and didn’t acknowledge until that moment. So I will always be grateful to Lana for making a difference, and making me feel safe and secure within myself.

Who Am I?

I’m a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in individual and group work. In 2019 I moved to Denmark, where I work in my Private Practice. One of my areas of expertise focuses on discovering how our culture influences our personalities and what quality makes us unique and human.
I’m a founder of Therapy With Lana, an international online teaching platform that offers classes, courses, programs, and individual sessions all focused on the embodiment.
I’m very passionate about embodiment because I have spent most of my life outside of my body trying to fit in an outside concept about life. I realized that underneath our images and projections lies a living being that wants to live and be in the creative movement. It is up to us to choose our way back to it.
My expertise is in helping individuals and groups using body-oriented and mindfulness-centered psychotherapy tools.
Formal education:
  •  Master of Social Policy, University of Zagreb
  •  Bachelor of Social Work, University of Zagreb
  •  Body-Oriented Method and Pathwork by Five Elements, Cosmic Express Association
  •  Core Evolution – Body-oriented and Mindfulness-centered Psychotherapy, International Institute of Core Evolution (ECP, EAPB)
  • Tesla Healing Metamorphosis, Tesla Metamorphosis Academy
  • Core Soma – Healing Touch, International Institute of Core Evolution (ECP, EAPB)
