Description
In our early years, the mirroring we receive from those around us—our caregivers, family, and community—plays a significant role in shaping our sense of self-worth.
If we weren’t seen, or were criticised, we might internalize the belief that we are not enough as we are. This can lead to a lifelong struggle with feelings of inadequacy, unworthiness, and a constant need to prove ourselves.
However, the truth is that self-worth is not something we need to earn; we are already enough as we are. Inner worthiness comes from the essence, the unbroken part of us.
Our worthiness has nothing to do with other people. It’s the realization and embodiment of our unbroken nature. We are not something that needs to be fixed. We already are the fulfilment of our dream. It is a matter of realizing and allowing our true nature to shine.
We are inherently worthy simply because we exist. This realization can be profoundly liberating, as it shifts the focus from striving to be more, do more, or achieve more, to simply being and accepting ourselves fully.
